This piece features a Putto (often called a cherub or Cupid) draped in a sash, leaning against an ornate, scrolling central column. The base uses "C-scrolls" and "S-scrolls," which are hallmarks of the Rococo aesthetic.
The "Convertible" Feature: this allows the owner to use it as a formal three-arm candelabrum for dinner parties or a single candlestick for daily use.
Most pieces of this quality originated in Germany (specifically the Dresden or Thuringia regions) or Italy (Capodimonte style) during the late 19th to early 20th century.
The arms are this piece are fragile & possibly glued back together with minimal damage - slightly loose - refer to photos
